While US Senator James David Vance said that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not pose an existential threat to Europe, Donald Trump’s statements about NATO indicate that it should play a more important role in ensuring the security of the continent. His words are quoted Guard.
“I don’t think Vladimir Putin is an existential threat to Europe…” Vance said.
He also added that the limiting factor in US support for Europe is “ammunition, not money”.
“We don’t produce enough munitions to support a war in Eastern Europe, a war in the Middle East, and possibly emergencies in East Asia. So the United States is fundamentally limited,” the senator said.
Previously Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen in the name European states will transfer unnecessary weapons to Ukraine.
“We have weapons, we have ammunition, we have air defense systems that we don’t even need right now. “They need to be handed over to Ukraine,” Frederiksen said.
