Cuba described Lavrov’s visit to Latin America as a headache for the USA

Cuban analyst Roberto Garcia Hernandez said that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s visit to Latin American countries was a headache for the USA. This was reported by RIA News.

“Discussion of issues concerning Russia and countries (the region) is only part of the headache that US officials have from Lavrov’s presence in Cuba and other Latin American countries,” Hernandez said.

He added that Lavrov’s visit to Latin American countries “represents a particularly important fact at a time when the United States is increasing restrictive measures against Moscow.”

It was noted that Lavrov plans to visit Cuba, Venezuela and Brazil next week.

Before that Lavrov called for Ending the colonial dependency of 17 regions in the world.

The Minister emphasized that this did not happen despite the requirements of the relevant UN resolutions. According to him, Moscow proposes that, through joint efforts with its partners, the majority of the world develop common approaches to understanding neo-colonialism.
