Kukiz’15 leader Paweł Kukiz and former Poczta Polska president Tomasz Zdzikot are among the witnesses scheduled to appear before the postal election investigative committee in March. Paweł Kukiz told PAP that he will appear at the committee meeting, although he does not really understand why he was summoned.
Who will be questioned by the investigative committee?
On April 16, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki ordered Poczta Polska to undertake and implement the necessary activities aimed at preparing and conducting the presidential elections, and ordered the Polish Security Printing House to print election packages. The first witness to be heard in March (March 4), as committee chairman Dariusz Joński (KO) informed PAP, will be the former president of Poczta Polska, Tomasz Zdzikot. Earlier, on February 20, the committee will hear his predecessors: the former president of Poczta Polska Przemysław Sypniewski and his deputy Grzegorz Kurdziel.
Zdzikot’s name appeared, among other things, in the testimony of former Accord MP Michał Wypij, who said during the hearing: about the meeting in the villa of former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on ul. Parkowa on holding envelope elections. As he reported, the meeting was attended by, among others, PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński and the then MAP Jacek Sasin, Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration Mariusz Kamiński and President of Poczta Polska Tomasz Zdzikot.
On March 13, Deputy Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy Iwona Michałek will be questioned.

Kukiz: I don’t know the details
On the same day, Kukiz’s 15 MPs, Paweł Kukiz and Jarosław Sachajko, will be questioned. The committee voted to question them at the request of the committee’s vice-chairman, Bartosz Romowicz (Polska2050), who wanted to know whether members of the then government and ruling coalition tried to convince Kukiz and Sachajka to support the idea of elections in May. 10.
The head of the Kukiz’15 group, Paweł Kukiz, told PAP that he would appear at the meeting of this committee. When asked what questions he expected, Kukiz replied:
I have no idea what to expect because I don’t really understand why I’m being called by this committee. I don’t know any details, we’ll wait, I’ll find out everything
– added the head of the Kukiz’15 club.
Hearing with Past Presidents of PWPW
Former PWPW president Piotr Ciompa and member of the PWPW Supervisory Board Wiktor Klimiuk will be questioned on March 14. Klimiuk was also a member of the political cabinet and advisor to the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kamiński. Klimiuk provided all explanations to the Supreme Court of Audit on behalf of the minister during his audit.
During the penultimate March meeting on March 18, the former president of PWPW, Maciej Biernat, and the head of the political cabinet of the Minister of the Interior and Administration in 2019-2023, Michał Prószyński, who undertook activities related to the Prime Minister’s decision regarding the preparation and conduct of the elections for the President of Poland.
Witnesses for the last meeting in March have not yet been appointed.
