Before this, Kerobyan announced that he was resigning from his post. He served as head of the department for three years. He said that in figures on the activities of the Ministry of Economy, the GDP of Armenia in 2023 increased by 100% compared to 2020. However, the reasons for the resignation were not disclosed.
