“Spaniards, Italians, Greeks, Germans, Dutch and Austrians will be exempt. In their countries, the immigrant crisis has actually gotten out of hand. Therefore, Poland will be the first country to undergo this move,” says Anna Zalewska, PiS Member of the European Parliament and former Minister of National Education, on Telewizja wPoland.
In the program “In the Event Center” on Telewizja wPoland, editor Tadeusz Płużaski spoke with MEP Zalewska about today’s events in the EU, in particular the migration pact agreed to by the government of Donald Tusk.
Many things are happening in the European Parliament today, on the one hand this is another step towards legalizing human trafficking and illegal migration. On the other hand, there are discussions about the climate goals for 2040, i.e. reducing CO2 emissions by 90 percent
– said Zalewska.
When it comes to the migration pact, we actually have one step further. There is still a vote in the European Parliament, but we see that the majority has been built up here and Donald Tusk can tell himself different things and even vote differently through his MEPs, but only because he is fully aware is that the regulations will come into force anyway, because there is a sufficient majority
– she added.
Indeed, it is the documents that also deceive the Poles into thinking that they will eventually be released, because they have accepted war refugees with open hearts. Nothing could be further from the truth, ladies and gentlemen. Spaniards, Italians, Greeks, Germans, Dutch and Austrians will be exempt. In their countries, the immigrant crisis has actually gotten out of hand
– said the politician.
Therefore, Poland will be the first country to undergo this relocation
– said the interlocutor of Telewizja wPolska.
“This applies to the Poland district.
Will Poland also have the opportunity to ‘buy out’ of accepting migrants?
Yes, that’s 20 thousand. euros. There is no money in this budget, we will see that next year because it will show the real intentions
– replied the MEP.
But the European Commission traditionally, as it has done in recent years with these types of documents, takes the liberty to decide whether the situation is ordinary or extraordinary, whether it is actually possible to save itself one way or another.
– she added.
Can you imagine the Commission’s ideas, which would see 4.5 million migrants in the EU, what percentage would then be moved to Poland?
– she said.
In 2014, places had already been designated in poviats and communes that were ready to receive migrants. The situation repeats itself and in general the district will concern Poland, and not the big cities
– warned Anna Zalewska.
“One thing is said and another is done.”
The presenter also asked how to understand the words of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who assures that Poland will not have to accept migrants, but when he goes to Brussels or Berlin he declares: “refugees are of course welcome.”
I think most of you are already used to it because this is the game. Donald Tusk thinks it’s political and diplomatic, but it’s more of a game of saying one thing and doing another. Soon you will learn that when we discuss together that the EU should be one country, Donald Tusk’s words that nothing bad for Poland will be accepted will change, that whatever it is, it is good.
– replied the interlocutor of Telewizja wPoland.
Before the Polish Parliament elections in January and February, PO and PSL MPs were allowed to vote in their EPP party in a completely different way than before. They voted just like us and played just such a game
– she added.
However, keep in mind that in Poland you hear one thing and completely different things happen in the European Union. Further documents that are unfriendly to Poland are simply accepted
– emphasized Anna Zalewska.
