Donald Tusk disgraced himself during the cabinet meeting by saying that “all previous expert opinions question the construction of the CPK.” On the X platform, contextual information quickly appeared, posted by users, stating that there is no public knowledge of any expert advice confirming Tusk’s words. However, there are plenty of people who claim the opposite.
CPK is a planned investment of at least PLN 155 billion. All previous expert opinions question the entire investment. These aspects are of great importance in the voivodeships where regional airports function well. Together with the President, we will show our best will to develop communications, air and railway infrastructure, but we must take into account the rationalization of public expenditure.
– he said during the cabinet meeting Donald Tusk. Thus, he used the same trick as his minister Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, in an attempt to justify the illegal attack on the public media. Expert opinions justifying these actions would also appear there. Finally, two expert opinions were actually presented, but these came about… after the powerful takeover of the public media by Donald Tusk’s coalition.
Tusk’s words were quickly verified by X users. The following contextual information appeared under the mention of the Prime Minister’s Office, which quoted Tusk’s words:
There is no public knowledge of any expert opinion questioning the entire investment. There are a number of expert opinions publicly available, including those prepared at the request of the previous PO government, which clearly demonstrate the desirability of building an air hub in central Poland.
A storm on the internet after Tusk’s words
However, this was not the end, a storm broke out during the entrance of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery. X users demand the presentation of at least one expert opinion that “questions” the investment in CPK. Lewica Razem MP Paulina Matysiak announced that she had sent an interpellation to the Prime Minister on this issue.
Well, that’s fine…
Interesting, because the expert opinion published in 2010 – consisting of almost 230 pages – proves that the construction of the CPK is not only profitable, but actually has no alternative. We can read such conclusions in its summary. The PO-PSL coalition was in power at the time and Donald Tusk was the Prime Minister.
“All existing expert opinions question the entire investment.” – there is no SINGLE expert advice. ALL expert opinions confirm this investment, and the largest expert opinion is from 2010, commissioned by the PO-PSL government.
All? Can I just have one? I can name 28 reports and expert opinions that say the opposite.
It’s not fun to lie about such expertise.
@DemagogPL, provide contextual information
@PolaMatysiak @krzysztofbosak can you send a request to make these experts public? It seems that this is once again a lie, as was the case with the audit which should actually have been ongoing, and as we know the tender was only announced recently.
Prime Minister @donaldtusk said today at the presidential palace about the CPK: “All existing expert opinions question the entire investment.” After these words, I sent an interpellation to the Prime Minister today. What did I ask about:
What expert opinions exactly was the Prime Minister talking about in the quoted statement? Please provide a copy of it.
Who had the above expert opinions carried out, carried out by whom and when? Please provide any information regarding this.
How do the above expert opinions relate to the announced audits regarding the CPK project?
It is time for a real substantive debate, not for generalities.
A number of people and organizations have already requested access to these expert opinions. In a few days it will become apparent that they were not written but oral and that members of the government knew them but had already forgotten their contents, causing them to be lost.
After all, there were expert opinions from PwC and Ernst & Young says the CPK needs to be built. Why lie like that? In the Internet age, people are more familiar with facts. It’s not the year 2000 where you can say whatever you want and no one will verify it.
Nonsense, nonsense, nonsense!
But that a public institution and Prime Minister @donaldtusk will be given context that corrects the manipulation of statements about CPK? I admit it without hesitation, I didn’t expect it.
If the Prime Minister refers to numerous expert opinions, surely @PremierRP can share at least one, right?
Please, @PremierRP, publish them all so everyone can draw their own conclusions.
