The leader of Polska 2050, Szymon Hołownia, after a series of media reports that people associated with his party work for companies of the Ministry of Finance, decided to announce that no person employed or belonging to Polska 2050 will be nominated for supervisory boards. Michał Gniatkowski, a lawyer from Poznań and activist of Poland 2050, who became a member of the supervisory board of Enea SA, disagreed with Hołownia’s position. In a statement, he announced that he was willing to give up his party membership just to keep his position.

I do not fully understand why it is not possible to be at the same time an expert who enjoys the confidence of the government coalition, a candidate for the Supervisory Board and at the same time a person who enjoys social trust in a given situation. city, i.e. a candidate in local government elections. I also don’t quite understand why three years of social activity in the context of the struggle for the rule of law should condemn a lawyer to be in a worse position compared to someone who “didn’t get his hands dirty” with such activities. .
