Tomasz Sójka will leave the Orlen Supervisory Board. Szymon Hołownia announced this during a press conference.
There has been considerable controversy surrounding Sójka’s presence on the supervisory board of Poland’s largest concern. The lawyer was affiliated with the Poland 2050 party, which included organized structures. He is also said to have ties with the law firm SMM Legal, which provided advice on the merger of Orlen with Lotos.
Szymon Hołownia commented on the issue during a press conference.
As for Prof. Jay. I want to say it resolutely and clearly: Prof. Tomasz Sójka is an excellent specialist, world-class professor of corporate law and capital markets. He ended up on Orlen’s board of trustees after the mess the previous team created, and now he has been delegated to the board of directors, whose job is to elect a new chairman of the board of directors.

Sójka’s dismissal
