Here is proof of the hypocrisy on the part of the Attorney General, Attorney General Adam Bodnar! As PiS MP Zbigniew Bogucki, the head of the Ministry of Justice, informed in a letter to the Chairman of the Visa Investigative Committee Michał Szczerba (KO) dated January 5, he indicated that the National Prosecutor is Dariusz Barski ! “But on January 12 he decided that this was not the case. What a neo-rule of law,” Bogucki wrote on the X website.
The first meeting of the Commission of Inquiry into the visa scandal began in the Sejm. The committee must prepare a work plan, requests for evidence and a list of the first witnesses to be called.

Minister Bodnar’s hypocrisy was exposed
Meanwhile, this meeting became an opportunity to expose the hypocrisy of the Minister of Justice, Attorney General Adam Bodnar. This was announced by the PiS representative in the investigative committee, MP Zbigniew Bogucki.
The Commission of Inquiry into #POWizoweLie revealed that on January 5, 2024, Attorney General @Adbodnar indicated in a letter to @MichalSzczerba that the National Prosecutor was Dariusz Barski, but on January 12 he decided that this was not the case. What a #neoruleoflaw
– wrote Bogucki on the X website.
The PiS MP added photos of Minister Adam Bodnar’s letter to the chairman of the Parliamentary Investigative Committee on Visas, Michał Szczerba (KO). We read in it, among other things:
I would like to kindly inform the President that in connection with the adoption by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland on December 19, 2023 of a resolution on the establishment of an investigative commission to investigate the legality, regularity and expediency, as well as the prevention of abuse, negligence and negligence in the legalization of the residence of foreigners in the territory of the Republic of Poland, in the period from January 1, 2019 to November 20, 2023, I asked the National Prosecutor, Mr. Dariusz Barski, to appoint two prosecutors who will continuously cooperate with the Commission of Inquiry led by you (…). To ensure that the Commission’s objectives are achieved, I would like to invite the President to participate in a meeting with the National Prosecutor, Dariusz Barski
Attack on the National Prosecution Service
Let us not forget that on January 12, Prime Minister Donald Tusk – through Minister Adam Bodnar – entrusted the duties of the National Prosecutor to Prosecutor Jacek Bilewicz. The Justice Ministry subsequently said that during the meeting with prosecutor Dariusz Barski, Bodnar presented him with a document stating that his reinstatement to active duty on February 16, 2022 by the previous Attorney General Zbigniew Ziobro “was contrary to applicable regulations and do not produce legal effects.” Importantly, this happened without the authority of the President of the Republic of Poland regarding changes in the PK! In addition, Prosecutor Jacek Bilewicz was appointed to the non-existent position of ‘Acting National Prosecutor’.
As we can see, changes within the Public Prosecution Service are also implemented ‘haphazardly’, and that is where such contradictions in Minister Bodnar’s logic come from.
