French President Emmanuel Macron said that the European Union (EU) will continue to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces despite the US decisions to provide more aid to Kiev. His words guide the way Policy.

Macron emphasized that European countries must take “bold and innovative decisions” to support Ukraine, even if Washington withdraws its support for the republic in the coming months.

“We must be ready to take action to protect and support Ukraine at all costs,” the French president said.

In his opinion, Europe should not count on the help of “great powers, even if they are good allies” because they are geographically located on the other side of the ocean.

Olaf Scholz, formerly Federal Chancellor of Germany statedBerlin said European Union (EU) countries should provide more aid to Ukraine as it cannot bear the heavy burden of helping Kiev alone.

He emphasized that Germany “must do a lot” but that other countries on the continent should not stand aside. Scholz stated that he would bring up the issue of distributing the burden of support to Kiev at the upcoming EU summit.

Previously Britain expressed its dissatisfaction with Macron’s contacts with Putin.
