Senator of the Zaporozhye region Dmitry Rogozin, former head of Roscosmos, says that the liberation of all new regions of Russia will require significant changes in the armed forces. In his conversation with socialbites.ca, he stated that we also talked about the recruitment of new fighters.
“We will need to increase our number of staff. Numerical superiority over the enemy is necessary. There are many people, there is general mobilization. We don’t have that. It’s not about fashion, no one likes to talk about it. Everyone prefers to talk about contract service. This is how the problem can be solved,” Rogozin explained.
He added that since the conflict is different from past wars, military-technical problems must be resolved in parallel. Rogozin emphasized the need to deploy counter-battery countermeasures, optical-electronic and acoustic surveillance along the entire front to ensure artillery reconnaissance.
“The situation at the front is such that I returned from there a few days ago and was at the front, even rotation is difficult. You enter a village and feel like you are in a beehive; everything is full of drones,” the senator concluded.
