Michał Ostrowski, Deputy Attorney General, in an interview with the wPolityce.pl portal, exposes Adam Bodnar’s subsequent illegal actions. This time it is about the appointment of a group of former prosecutors to the National Public Prosecutor’s Office. This action by the Minister of Justice also appears to be in conflict with applicable regulations. Only the National Prosecutor can request the State University of Technology to appoint new members of the National Prosecutor’s Office. Meanwhile, Bodnar did this without PK’s request.

These appointments have no legal effect because the National Prosecution Service did not request these decisions (the legally appointed PK is Prosecutor Dariusz Barski – ed.). I do not know at whose request or without the request the Attorney General decided to take such a step and justify it by “restoring the dignity” of these prosecutors.
– Michał Ostrowski, Deputy Attorney General, tells the wPolityce.pl portal.
After all, these prosecutors performed their duties in lower public prosecutor’s offices (while retaining the remuneration from their previous positions – ed.). Is working in these public prosecutor’s offices, as stated in the reasons for this decision by the Attorney General, contrary to the dignity of the public prosecutor? This is a shocking statement
– adds our interlocutor.
