“Krzysztof Bosak’s idea of a constitutional reset would mean a kind of round table. I am absolutely not convinced that PO can sit down with us. I would like to enter into discussions with the Confederation,” said Prof. on Radio Wnet. Przemysław Czarnek.
Forcefully introduce full-fledged MPs to the Sejm?
The PiS MP, asked about the presence of MPs Kamiński and Wąsik during the Sejm debates, reiterated that their mandates have not expired and that they have the full right to appear in the Sejm.
They have not only the right, but also the obligation to fulfill their mandate
– he said. He also pointed out that there is no question of the PiS faction forcibly introducing MPs Kamiński and Wąsik to the Sejm.
Forcefully introduce full-fledged MPs to the Sejm? It would no longer be Belarus, but the Soviet Union. These gentlemen have every right to participate in the work of the Sejm
– he repeated, recalling that 44,000 people voted for Mariusz Kamiński. voters.
Today we are completely outside the constitutional system of the Republic of Poland. The constitution no longer applied. We no longer have a state, I am talking about those in power, in which the constitution is respected.
– assessed in this context the current situation regarding, inter alia, the capture of Kamiński and Wąsik.
We are different people than them. They are idiots, they act illegally, they are vulgar, they base their power on lies. We trust the law
– assessed the idea of forced entry of the above-mentioned members of the Sejm.
“‘I do not believe that the Platform can sit at our table’
Later in the conversation on Radio Wnet, there was also discussion about presenting the proposal of the so-called constitutional reset, which was announced on January 12 by the Deputy Chairman of the Sejm, Krzysztof Bosak of the Confederation. Bosak called on all political forces to sit down and talk about how to restore the unity of the state. He then said, among other things, that “we are dealing with perhaps the biggest political conflict, a constitutional crisis that Poland has been experiencing for years.”
Referring to this proposal, MP Czarnek said that “it is an idea”.
I heard the president is also interested in this option. This would mean a roundtable on regulatory changes that would lead to a solution to this situation, leaving the “USSR” to a law-abiding state.
– reviewed Prof. Czarnek. He added that he told Bosak to first “convince his PO coalition partners to obey the law.”
Just follow the law, just follow the constitution (…) and then even a reset is actually possible
– he emphasized.
I am not absolutely convinced, not to mention that I do not believe that the Platform can sit down with us to discuss common changes (…). I will be happy to sit at the table with the Confederacy and I will always talk. I declare it, I have declared it and I will declare it
– said Przemysław Czarnek.
Constitutional reset?
Bosak called on all political forces in parliament to “sit down and discuss, despite mutual reluctance, or perhaps even hatred, how this can be done in a legal way, that is, by passing laws that will then be passed by the President are signed and in accordance with the Constitution, and “also, possibly by discussing and validly adopting amendments to the Constitution, to express the legal system and other elements of the system of the highest organs of the State lead this conflict.”
Proposals of the so-called constitutional resetare – as he said – proposals to get out of this mess through jointly accepted amendments to the Constitution. He admitted that the Confederation hopes the proposals “will be met with normal discussions and normal criticism.”
If anyone disagrees with our proposals, we expect him to submit his own proposals, but resolving political conflicts by force, by mutually detaining each other’s politicians and ignoring court and tribunal rulings, is not the way to restore the rule of law in Poland.
– he pointed out.
