Famous actress Krystyna Janda has apparently already cured her ‘national depression’, because the people she supports have taken power and PiS, whom she hated, had to hand over the reins. Despite this, she still feels “terrified”, among other things. the pardons of MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik and the cries of people supporting politicians in front of the prisons where they were imprisoned. “I don’t know anything about it, but I think the commissions that have been set up will give us a lot of culprits,” she said in an interview with Onet, commenting on President Andrzej Duda’s decision.
Since Law and Justice won the elections in 2015, Krystyna Janda has been unable to get over it. For eight years she made all kinds of surprising statements in the media. She once confessed on TOK FM that she had the feeling that someone was pooping on her all the time (unfortunately she expressed it a little less diplomatically), another time, in 2023, during a conversation with Tomasz Lis on his YouTube channel. she suspects that it was the rule of law that led to the death of her mother, who died in 2019 and had reached the impressive age of 90.
The actress described her condition in an interview with Onet as “national depression”. Can a serious disease requiring therapy and pharmacological treatment have its own “national” variant and be cured by a change of government in Poland? We don’t know, but in an interview for the same portal, Janda seems to assess the situation in Poland more positively than before October 15, 2023.
Who should be held accountable?
In “Onet Rano”, Janda expressed her satisfaction with the PiS government’s “settlements”.
I believe that those who committed crimes should be held accountable for their crimes. However, I am not in favor of a blanket settlement with people who have not committed crimes
– she said, explaining that she wanted to hold accountable “state officials, parties and people who managed our national assets and committed crimes.”
We didn’t get to know each other from the best side. We have to learn to live with it, to live in friendship with those who think and feel differently from us
– she said when asked about PiS supporters.
““A Different Kind of Existence”
Interestingly, in the same conversation she referred to the release of MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik from prison and the protests in their defense. In addition to PiS parliamentarians, the protests included the same people with whom the actress – as she generously stated – “must learn to live in friendship.”
I was terrified of what these people were shouting. It froze me. I’m slowly not understanding it anymore. I don’t know if it’s old age or if I’m going crazy
– she emphasized when asked about the cries of “Honour and glory to the heroes” directed at Kamiński and Wąsik as they left prison.
What do these people think, where are the reasons and arguments that convinced them? I consider it a different kind of existence.
– she added. So how for what? About aliens? Animals? Worms? It is very interesting…
“They will give us a lot of guilty parties.”
Janda also counts on investigative committees.
I don’t know about it, but I think the committees that have been created will leave us with a lot of guilty parties
– she added.
She then decided to attack the president.
How will the president, who is clearly at the service of the party, behave? I can’t understand his decisions, who advises him, who is behind them. After this change, goodwill would be enough to make everything go smoothly and for us all to trust him, but unfortunately he broke our trust from the beginning.
– emphasized the actress.
Krystyna Janda was right about at least one thing. If he thinks that the investigative committees will find someone guilty, he actually knows ‘nothing about it’.
