Shmygal spoke about future cooperation between Slovakia and Ukraine

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal, in his meeting with his Slovakian counterpart Robert Fico in Uzhgorod, said that the two countries will cooperate on the basis of “new pragmatism”. Slovak agency reports that TASR.

“We plan to pursue a ‘new pragmatism’ policy with the Slovak government that will benefit both countries,” Shmygal said.

Fico responded by saying that the Slovak Council of Ministers supports Ukraine’s desire to join the EU and will neither block the EU’s €50 billion aid to Kiev nor the supply of military equipment to Ukraine.

Formerly Italian newspaper La Stampa WroteIt was stated that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni plans to come to Kiev at the end of February.

Details of the trip remain secret. Meloni is expected to visit the Ukrainian capital as a show of support and in conjunction with Italy assuming the G7 presidency this year.
