MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik are expected to be released soon. Today, Minister of Justice and Attorney General Adam Bodnar handed over to President Andrzej Duda court files regarding pardon proceedings against MPs Maciej Wąsik and Mariusz Kamiński.
As the Ministry of Justice stated, the minister attached to the file “a request not to exercise the right to pardon together with the position of the PG”, but “the opinion of the Attorney General is not binding on the President” .

Despite this, Law and Justice politicians are constantly meeting in front of the facilities where Ministers Kamiński and Wąsik are staying. We asked PiS MP Anita Czerwińska, who supported MP Maciej Wąsik for the Przytuły prison, for comment on this issue.
We meet every day, some of us in front of the prison in Przytuły, where MP Maciej Wąsik is staying, some of us in front of the detention center in Radom, where MP Mariusz Kamiński is staying. I myself take part in demonstrations for the ZK in Przytuły. These are expressions of support for the illegally imprisoned MP Maciej Wąsik, but also for his wife and relatives

Above all, at these meetings we demand the immediate release of political prisoners. I hope that the information about the transfer of court files to Mr President by Minister Bodnar means that the Members of Parliament will immediately leave the prisons in which they are unlawfully and illegally held.
