According to the politician, his party will first try to eliminate the “democratic deficit” and the powers of the European Commission through reforms, and if it fails, it will resort to the last resort.
“If we cannot restore the sovereignty of EU member states, we must let citizens decide, as the United Kingdom has done,” Weidel said, referring to Brexit.
