“It may be that bypassing or not noticing the Polish Constitution is the core of the European Union,” Marek Jakubiak said on the television channel wPolsce.pl. MP Kukiz’15 noted, among other things: activities of Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz and the issues of the structural funds for Poland.
As informed by the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:
We have confirmation from the European Commission – Poland meets the last three conditions necessary for the full mobilization of structural funds – 76 billion euros for the implementation of programs until 2027.
Referring to this issue, Jakubiak said:
It can be said that yesterday it was illegal, and today it is legal. It may be that circumventing or not respecting the Polish Constitution is at the heart of the European Union, because the Constitutional Court has ruled that EU law is not the most important law in Poland. Perhaps it was the circumvention of the constitution that made such a huge impression on Mr Reynders. We can joke about it, but it is a society of mutual admiration. Note Mr. Miller’s sincerity when he said that the most important milestone was the overthrow of the government.
Member of Parliament Kukiz’15 also sounded the alarm about the actions of the current government.
I’m afraid for Tusk, who said they will do everything with the law, but as they understand it, it can mean a lot. It opens up a lot of precedents that no one saw coming. There is no legislation, no parliament. Instead of the public prosecutor’s office, we deal with a number of committees. Giertych appoints a revolutionary committee. Maybe he’s building a scaffolding on the grounds of the Sejm? It looks very dangerous. They say they don’t accept the obvious legal arguments that they read it differently
– he said.
Sienkiewicz’s behavior
Marek Jakubiak also commented on Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz’s parliamentary speech.
Suddenly it turns out that Sienkiewicz is the Virgin of Orleans, a man of all virtues, revealed as a warrior for Poland
– he said.
The Sejm doesn’t work at all. In committees we deal with nonsense. (…) I have been an impartial Member of Parliament for two years and no one has ever banned me from appearing. And this falls under the PiS regime
– said Marek Jakubiak.
