Bielsa steps forward with presentation of team for PSPV renewal program

Take a step forward from Galicia Carlos Fernandez Bielsa inside Chess match for leadership of PSPV Ximo Puig. The Valencian state secretary announced that he would appoint a team of representatives from three states to “prepare the renewal program in PSPV”, according to sources from his team.

According to cited sources, they will work to structure “a renewal program aimed at laying the foundations of a new party model to strengthen it to win again in 2027.”

They added that the aim is to create a platform that will enable the cooperation and participation of all militants, thus ensuring that the program is an open and participatory one.

The names of the working team are as follows: Bartolome Nofuentes, Elisa Valía And Salvador Broseta (for Valencia); Pep Lluís Grau And Sabina Escrig (by Castellón) and Naiara Fernández Olarra And Juan Guillermo Algado (for Alicante), also Laura Barrios, of youth.

Broseta was general secretary of the city of Valencia and held various positions in the Botànic Government together with Puig. The last one is the undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, Internal Affairs and Public Administration.

Elisa Valía is an architect from the so-called ‘abalism’. She served as a councilor in the Valencia City Council.

Nofuentes is the deputy mayor of Quart de Poblet and has spearheaded the movement called Socialism 2.0.

Pep Lluís Grau was senator and general secretary of the Castelló local group until 2012. According to the aforementioned Bielsa sources, he was leading Sánchez’s ‘permanent militant’ platforms.

Sabina Escrig is deputy mayor of the Vila-real City Council, councilor since 2003 and coordinator of the election campaign during the last municipal elections. She served as a regional MP from 2015 to 2023 and served as deputy speaker in Les Corts.

Naiara Fernández Olarra has been a council member in Mutxamel for eight years.

Juan Guillermo Algado is the spokesman for the Municipal Socialist Group in Finestrat.

Laura Barrios Oliver is secretary of feminism under the presidency of Joves Socialistes. She is president of fmj (Federation of Young Women of Spain) and secretary of LGTBI in the regional government of Ribera Alta and equality in Carcaixent.
