According to the head of state, a bilateral agreement containing security guarantee elements between France and Ukraine will be ready in the coming weeks, in accordance with the commitments announced after the NATO summit in Vilnius.

Additionally, Macron said that an agreement would be reached on the supply of new French weapons to Ukraine during his visit to Kiev in February. He stated that Paris is ready to transfer SCALP long-range aircraft cruise missiles and hundreds of bombs to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). CAESAR self-propelled artillery systems can also be supplied to Ukraine.

Macron promised to continue military support to Ukraine for as long as necessary, including training soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
