A few days ago, people protested in front of Donald Tusk’s domain against the detention of PiS MPs by writing “Dictatorship” and “You are not going to lock us all up” in the snow. Now banners with the inscription “Solidarity with Kamiński and Wąsik” began to be hung in Gdańsk.
Let us not forget that PiS MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik were detained in the Presidential Palace and then taken to one of the police headquarters in Warsaw to be transferred to the Warsaw-Grochów Remand Center. The day before the demonstration of the “Free Poles” they were transported to separate prisons. They both started a hunger protest and President Andrzej Duda started the pardon procedure. Due to his poor health, Mariusz Kamiński remains in a hospital cell in the Remand House in Radom, and Maciej Wąsik in a prison near Ostrołęka.
Support actions are being organized across Poland for imprisoned PiS politicians who have fought corruption. A few days ago, a demonstration in their defense took place in front of Donald Tusk’s house in Sopot. Protesters wrote “Dictatorship” and “You’re not going to lock us all up” in the snow.
