The Prime Minister did not hear too many difficult questions and was free to twist his absurd story, full of distortions and enormous hypocrisy. The only thing we could learn from this hour-long ‘interview’ was that Tusk would continue to attack and destroy more Polish institutions.
He turned Poland into a banana republic, where the police decide, not the law, and now he argues: “for me it is important to recognize the power of the law so that Poland becomes a constitutional state again.”
I didn’t think we’d go back to the time before 2015 so quickly. I’m sorry, but I’m afraid the serial killer will return too.
Abandon all hope. “Europe” gave Tusk a free hand. He has a job. He will do it with German flair and commitment. Law? Laws? Constitution? Never mind. And the photos of these three nodding parodists, who periodically pose as journalists and conduct a (joint!) interview with Tusk, will stay with us for a long time.
