Presidential advisor Prof. Andrzej Zybertowicz spoke on wPolsce.pl, among others: about the “Protest of the Free Poland”. He analyzed whether the high turnout at this demonstration could have a specific long-term meaning.
The “Protest of the Free Poles” organized by PiS was attended by many participants – there were tens of thousands, perhaps even hundreds.
Far more important than what this January turnout tells us is what it will tell Donald Tusk. This is a politician who, I think, does not take into account reasons and arguments, but rather violence. It is important that Poles who are attached to patriotic values, who have Poland in their hearts and not glued to them, appear in large numbers. I don’t know how many of us were there today, but there were a lot of us
– he pointed out Prof. Andrzej Zybertowicz.
“This civic fabric is needed here.”
The sociologist noted that more similar demonstrations will be organized in the future, as announced by the PiS president. At this point, PiS needs support from various civil society organizations.
This citizen fabric is needed here. There is a need to strengthen the wPolsce.pl television and to spread a whole network of intellectual, social and patriotic initiatives across the media of circles that believe that it is worth being Poles, farmers on this earth . This work was already going well before 2015 and that is why, among other things, we won the elections, but in recent years we have given up on building connections between the archipelago of Polish character.
– he emphasized.
Prof. Zybertowicz admitted that PiS also lost the elections because he failed to build coalition capabilities.
We, as a patriotic independence camp, are not defeated, we have 1/3 of the votes in the Sejm, but we lost the elections, there is no point in complaining. We lost, among other things: as a result of the inability to build coalition capacities
– he said.
