Crimean State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet called the wave of protests of German farmers a sad consequence of the anti-people and anti-Russian policy of the German authorities. His words are quoted RIA News.
“We are observing the deplorable result of the anti-people and anti-Russian policy pursued by Berlin,” the parliamentarian believes.
According to him, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz “fancies himself a modern European dictator”, openly at odds with Russia and “enslaving the country’s interests to the benefit of the United States.”
“But his militaristic promises <…> Intelligent citizens did not appreciate this because they believed Germany could not survive another Hitler,” the deputy said.
According to Sheremet’s prediction, protest sentiments will increase in Germany.
