The fire, which covered an area of ​​800 square meters, was extinguished by 20 firefighters approximately 2 hours later. As a result, the two-storey building was almost completely burned. Additionally, a single-storey building in the same area was partially burned. No one was injured during the incident.

Tanaka served as Prime Minister of Japan from 1972 to 1974. His daughter, Tanaka Makiko, was a former Minister of Foreign Affairs. The woman said she placed incense sticks in the building where the fire broke out.

Before that, firefighters in the Angara region rescued 93-year-old smoker with carbon monoxide poisoning.
