A joint coalition candidate in the presidential elections is being considered – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski told “Super Express”. He emphasized that it would be particularly important to support one candidate in the second round.
The minister was asked whether the coalition was considering fielding a joint candidate in the presidential elections.
This variant is being considered
– Gawkowski replied.
Gawkowski would like to have the left-wing candidate in the first round
When asked what his personal opinion is on this, the minister says that in his opinion the left should put forward its candidate in the first round, because representatives of the opposition groups can also compete.
It is important that we all support each other in the second round. I don’t believe the PiS candidate will win in the first…
– he pointed out.
Gawkowski was also asked whether the current government is not afraid of possible early parliamentary elections.
There is nothing to be afraid of. Voters elected parliament for four years and if President Andrzej Duda were to contest this huge public turnout today, with over 11 million votes cast for our coalition, PiS would lose even more. Nobody is afraid of early elections. If necessary, we will win
– he said.
Common candidate? The December 13 coalition might want to opt for such a solution. But would Szymon Hołownia or Rafał Trzaskowski be willing to hide their ambitions? It doesn’t seem so certain anymore.
– QUESTIONNAIRE. Trzaskowski triumphs over Hołownia. The mayor of Warsaw can count on 30 percent. to vote. A great loss for the leader of Poland 2050
