Prof. Przemysław Czarnek spoke during a demonstration in front of the TVP branch in Lublin. The Law and Justice MP encouraged people to take part in the demonstration that will take place in Warsaw on January 11.
Czarnek warned about the new government’s actions, which he believes are destroying democracy.
Do you know of any other country in the European Union where such people come to power in the way they have been doing since December 19? There is no other country like it. Today, democracy, the rule of law and freedom are being destroyed before our eyes. Your freedoms and rights are being destroyed and trampled by lieutenant colonels like Sienkiewicz. And we will not forgive them for this
– said the former minister of education.
Invitation to the march
Czarnek then encouraged those in attendance to join the march on January 11.
We have a very long march to begin. It won’t be a short march. What is happening today is one phase of this march. It will be a long march to win Poland back for the Poles. The next big stage is on January 11 at 4pm in front of the Sejm. Then we will show our strength, the Poles. Because we Poles care about Poland. (…) A call to all of us to go there and show the great strength of millions of patriots. There are millions of us. Let them fear us
– he said.
