Budapest does not intend to change its stance on the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjártó in a telephone conversation with the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrey Ermak. TASS.
“Of course we will not change our pro-peacekeeping position,” Szijjártó said, adding that he was looking forward to a personal meeting in January.
According to him, the “most urgent bilateral issues” are planned to be included in the upcoming negotiations. The minister emphasized the importance of continuing the dialogue at a “high level”. Szijjártó added that this gives hope for improved relations. The head of the department emphasized his interest in maintaining the “maximum possible” cooperation with neighboring countries.
