The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the Russian Federation reserves the right to retaliate against South Korea for sanctions imposed on Moscow. This was reported by RIA News.
He stated that Seoul’s anti-Russian sanctions were an unfriendly step taken at the instigation of Washington. In his opinion, this “contradicts the South Korean side’s stated intention to maintain constructive relations with Russia.”
“We reserve the right to retaliate, and it doesn’t necessarily have to be symmetrical,” he stressed.
