First of all, I would like to call Jarosław Gowin to the Committee on Envelope Elections, because he had extensive knowledge on this issue, which could be valuable to the Committee – said the chairman, Dariusz Joński (KO), after the committee meeting.

On the same day, I would like former Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin, who had extensive knowledge in this field, to witness and oppose the organization of the elections. The committee can certainly use his knowledge to prepare a good report
– said Joński.
He added that the commission’s work plan assumes that the activities undertaken in preparation and implementation of the 2020 elections will be monitored in the form of correspondence voting, maintaining the chronology of events.
We start with the pandemic. Then there were regulations, decrees of law, and then an order was issued to Poczta Polska and Polska Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych

The Commission agreed that, among others, the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of State Assets, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, the Polish Post and the Polish Security Printing House to provide documents, including correspondence on the preparations for the of elections by correspondence.
As Joński told PAP, the committee requests the transfer of documents from these institutions within 14 days.
We asked for 14 days, but in practice that often takes up to a month. In previous committees it was even longer. We know it’s Christmas, New Year’s Eve. We realize that there are many such documents
– said Joński.
The task of the Commission of Inquiry on Envelope Elections is primarily – as indicated in the resolution – “to investigate and assess the legality, regularity and purposefulness of the actions taken in preparation and implementation of the elections for the President of the Republic Poland in 2020 in the form of postal votes by government authorities, in particular the actions taken by members of the Council of Ministers, including Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin, and government officials assigned to them be subordinate.

Reproduction of the request for the hearing of Trzaskowski and Kidawa-Błońska

Today at the Commission of Inquiry the first test of the credibility of the commission members and all political forces in Poland that have their representatives on the commission took place. We supported all the evidence requests submitted by the Civic Coalition, and were fully convinced from the very beginning that we were not afraid of anything and that none of this evidence would lead to difficult situations or difficult testimonies that would cause us concern.
Buda said.
On the other hand, today we saw fear in the eyes of the ruling coalition for the first time. It turned out that they had voted to refuse to interview mainly key witnesses
– added the PiS-MP.
Important witnesses
As he noted, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Rafał Trzaskowski, Tomasz Grodzki and Borys Budka (KO) are key witnesses in this case.
Why? Because someone wanted the postal elections not to happen. Who let this happen? Well, the one who benefited the most, these representatives also often said in the media that they were blocking the elections, Buda pointed out.
According to him, it would be necessary to determine “how, on behalf of whom, what interest they had in this.”
I can assure you from this point on that at every committee meeting we will repeat the request to hear key witnesses, namely Rafał Trzaskowski and Kidawa-Błońska.
– emphasized the PiS MP.
