First of all, these people must be permanently eliminated from public life, and appropriate punishments must be imposed, because they have simply broken the law and in an extremely socially dangerous way, because they have attacked Polish democracy, they have violated the rights of the citizens have been attacked because the right to pluralism – he said on TV Republika PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński, referring to changes in public media.
Fitting in with German and Russian politics
On Thursday, in an interview with TV Republika, Jarosław Kaczyński referred to the issue of the liquidation of the TVP World channel, which – as the interviewer noted – showed the world the Polish view of the world, including during the Russian attack on Ukraine. The PiS president was asked what he would say to people who are surprised by this decision.
I would say that they should try to understand that this party, which competed with Law and Justice, was completely in line with German policy, but this also means Russian policy. Because these two countries really wanted to work closely together to dominate this part of Europe, but also throughout Europe, and eventually push the United States out of Europe. As for Germany, it is completely unjustified to acquire the position of a world power, and those who rule today and also ruled Poland eight years ago were completely in line with this plan for their own benefit.
– said Jarosław Kaczyński, quoted by the website nazwa.pl.
“These people must be permanently eliminated from public life.”
According to the PiS president, people who have taken over the public media must be held accountable.
On the one hand, we have a political responsibility, but in this case we are also dealing with many criminal issues and they should also end up in court. As far as I’m concerned, this also applies to guilty verdicts
– he said.
First of all, these people must be permanently eliminated from public life, and for that they must undergo appropriate punishment, because they have simply broken the law and in an extremely socially dangerous way, because they have attacked Polish democracy, attacked the rights of citizens. because the right to pluralism and to choose the media is one of the fundamental rights of citizens, one of the foundations of democracy and therefore these types of crimes must be punished with the utmost severity
– noted Jarosław Kaczyński.

The PiS president also referred to the verdict against Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik.
This first verdict was a scandal to say the least, because these people not only did not commit crimes, but also fought crime. What they did was upheld by the courts with convictions against the people against whom they carried out these actions, not against all of them, but against some of them. They had all the necessary permits from the public prosecutor’s office and the courts, which in short means that they did not break the law in the slightest
– emphasized Jarosław Kaczyński.
He judged that “they were attributed intentions which they did not have, and one might even say that they did not so much have intentions as a consciousness quite different from that attributed to them.”
Because Minister Kamiński, with whom I talked about these issues as Prime Minister, knew in any case that carrying out this action could lead to the collapse of our government, and we talked about the contradiction between our principles and our political interest. And we chose the principles. Minister Kamiński was, I think, very happy that I agreed to choose the principles. And I was so deeply convinced that even if I hadn’t agreed to it, he would still have chosen these principles.
– said the president of PiS.
In his opinion, “the court acted deliberately, with the intention of pre-condemnation, in such a way that these judges themselves had to sit on the bench of indictment and have to repent for a very long time for what they did, including those who had violated the Constitution in the Supreme Court, criminal liability is much more difficult to enforce here, but disciplinary liability and exclusion from the profession, and for life, are absolutely necessary.
Finally, those convicted at second instance must also suffer very far-reaching and very serious consequences, including consequences in the field of civil law; they must undergo the so-called accession processes – which involve both criminal and civil liability
– he pointed.
I regret to say that there are people in the Polish judiciary who are in fact criminals and should be treated as criminals.
– said Jarosław Kaczyński.
