Sudan to deport 15 UAE embassy employees from the country

Sudan decided to deport many United Arab Emirates (UAE) embassy employees from the country. This is reported with reference to the state news agency of the republic. Reuters.

According to the agency, 15 employees of the UAE Embassy were declared persona non grata. They were ordered to leave Sudan within two days. Emirates’ chargé d’affaires has already been informed of the decision. At the same time, the reasons for the decision of the republican authorities were not specified.

Currently, a civil war continues in Sudan between the army of the current government of the republic and the Rapid Reaction Forces (RRF). The conflict began in April 2023. The parties share contradictory information about their success in combat operations and control over objects, initiating a large-scale information war in the media and social networks.
