The National Assembly of the Republic of Korea adopted a resolution calling on the governments of the Russian Federation and North Korea to abandon cooperation in the military field. This was reported by TASS.
According to the agency, the last meeting of the autumn session of the South Korean parliament was held on December 8. During the event, lawmakers adopted a document on interaction between Moscow and Pyongyang in the military field.
Parliamentarians specifically called on the Russian Federation and North Korea to stop such cooperation. At the same time, the decision was adopted by a simple majority – 138 people voted in favor, as stated in the material.
According to the agency, the document was submitted to the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea for consideration in mid-October. The decision was supported by 10 representatives of the conservative “People Power” party, of which the country’s current president Yoon Seok-yeol is a member.
