Members of the Parliamentary Team for Equality of the LGBT+ Community were elected in the Sejm. What does the said team plan to do during this period of the Sejm? This question from TV reporter Maciej Zemła from wPolsce.pl was answered by MPs Krzysztof Śmiszek (left) and Klaudia Jachira (KO, Greens).
This Parliament is open to everyone, including minorities. It wasn’t so clear last term, or two terms ago. This Sejm is different, this majority is different and we respect human rights
– he said in an interview with a reporter from wPolsce.pl Krzysztof Śmiszekchairman of said team.
Jachira: We will fight for civil partnerships
She further explained the team’s tasks for the current parliamentary term Klaudia Jachira. This includes: for the introduction of censorship under the guise of combating the so-called Hate Speech.
The first step is what is stated in the coalition agreement, which is to ensure that there is no hate speech against the LGBT community and that these changes must be implemented in the criminal code.
– said Jachira.
We, the Greens, will also fight for this and talk to our parliamentary majority to make partnerships a reality.
– she added.
Klaudia Jachira’s statement shows that the Parliamentary Team for Equality for the LGBT+ Community can support the parliamentary majority in implementing the left-wing ideological agenda, including censorship.
