We have decided that the project regarding the extension of credit holidays should be put on the government path, which will allow consultation; We want the future Minister of Finance to comment on the financial consequences of this law – said Michał Gramatyka (Polska2050-TD) on RMF FM.
The Polish MP for the Third Way 2050 was also asked on RMF FM whether he would become Climate Minister in Donald Tusk’s coalition government. As he replied, the best candidate for this position is Paulina Hennig-Kloska, an MP from his party.
According to Gramatyka, the doubts about Hennig-Kloska were caused by the “PiS offensive”.
He is an extremely honest person, very hardworking, very committed and knows the subject very well. I hope that it will survive the media unrest surrounding the bill (the so-called wind turbine law).
– said the Third Way politician, referring to the criticism of the draft amendment to the Law on Support to Energy Consumers, which would extend the freeze on energy prices until June 30, 2024 and would introduce solutions for the construction of wind farms and wind turbines in Poland.
Self-amendment of the bill of the parliamentarians of the KO and Poland 2050
On Tuesday evening, information about the tabling of an amendment to the KO and Polski MPs’ bill 2050-TD appeared on the Sejm website; According to the amendment, the provisions regarding wind farms have been removed from the project, so that the project now only concerns the freezing of energy prices.
Gramatyka recalled that the chairman of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, had announced during the day on Tuesday that the Sejm would immediately deal with the issue of freezing energy prices, while the issue of releasing energy from wind energy would be dealt with, perhaps as part of a government project. Poland’s 2050 MP stressed that the issue of unlocking wind energy remains important and that this is just the beginning of making changes.
Gramatyka, in turn, referred to the topic of “expropriation” for the construction of wind turbines and assured that he would not vote for this solution.
I will not vote for any expropriation for the construction of wind turbines, and there were no such provisions in this law.
– he said.
The Third Way politician was also asked about the credit holiday project. On Tuesday, the parliamentary committee on public finances was scheduled to discuss two bills on extending loan exemptions: one submitted by Poland’s 2050-TD group of parliamentarians and one drafted by Mateusz Morawiecki’s government. However, the committee meeting was cancelled; the bill was withdrawn.
We have decided that this bill must be introduced through the government process, ie a process that allows consultation. In this case, we would prefer that the future Minister of Finance comment on the financial consequences of this law

The Third Way politician also said he does not yet know the composition of Donald Tusk’s government. When asked whether he was a candidate for the deputy ministership of Digitalization, he replied that this was an area in which he was quite efficient.
