EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell and American Secretary of State Antony Blinken have shown their cowardice and fear of any conversation about the facts at hand. Their escape from the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CMFA) of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) was described by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergei Lavrov: his words were quoted by the press service sections.
According to the diplomat, Borrell and Blinken, as well as the ministers of Poland and the Baltic countries, were not present at the meeting.
“I believe they are cowards because they are afraid to have an honest conversation about the facts at hand,” the minister said.
According to Lavrov, “the same fear explains all these distortions regarding the denial of visas” to Russian diplomats at UN events in New York and at the UNESCO session in Paris.
“This is simple cowardice,” said the head of the foreign policy department.
The other day, Official Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova statedHe said Western foreign ministers were “talking nonsense” at the OSCE meeting in North Macedonia.
Previously Zakharova explained The importance of Lavrov’s presence in the OSCE Council of Ministers.
