We are dealing with a political show, not with the real composition of the government – said the head of the PSL-TD club, Krzysztof Paszyk, about the appointment of Mateusz Morawiecki’s new government. It was assumed that there would be a government made up of second-rate PiS politicians, and that is what it is, he added. KO’s Barbara Nowacka is also critical of the new government.
On Monday, President Andrzej Duda swore in the government of Mateusz Morawiecki in the Columns Hall of the presidential palace.
There should have been a government made up of second-rate PiS politicians, and here it is
— Paszyk told PAP.
As he emphasized, the composition of Mateusz Morawiecki’s new government does not change anything when it comes to parliamentary arithmetic.
The majority of the Sejm, represented by PSL, Polska 2050, KO and Left, agree, bound by a coalition agreement – published and open, to create a government led by Donald Tusk. We stick to it. Nothing Mateusz Morawiecki has said in recent days changes this. It’s a shame that we waste time, money and energy on unrealistic political scenarios. Meanwhile, there are many challenges, time is running out, we have to prepare a budget, take steps regarding European funds, especially KPO, and we play such shows here.
– said the PSL politician.
Asked whether the high participation of women in Morawiecki’s new government would be compared to Donald Tusk’s future coalition government, Paszyk replied: “If we were still dealing with a real government, it could be used as a model, but we are dealing with a political show,” and not with the real composition of the government.
You can shape these proposals any way you want, but they have nothing to do with reality
– added the head of the PSL-Trzecia Droga club.
There is no way this government can gain approval in the Sejm. This is done violently, against logic, against common sense, just to buy time, to continue the political illusion of winning the elections, but it is only an illusion that will eventually end .
– said Paszyk.
Nowacka: I wonder if the new ministers will actually join the ministries
I wonder whether the new ministers will actually enter the ministries and what they will pretend to do. Because we know very well that it is a farce and just an extension of the sad end of this government – Barbara Nowacka (KO) assessed the appointment of the new PAP government.
As government spokesperson Piotr Müller informed PAP, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki sent a request to President A. Duda to appoint a new Council of Ministers; more than half of the new government will consist of women.
When asked about her thoughts on the new administration, Barbara Nowacka said, “Enough of this farce. Prime Minister Morawiecki knows very well that he does not have a majority in the Sejm. He appoints a government just to have a cover.”
According to her, “the composition of the government is surprising.”
Because just as they didn’t need women in power, it turned out that when there is no power, suddenly many women appear and only a few politicians remain from the old team.
– she explained.
According to her, the most interesting thing is that Jarosław Kaczyński says that he was the one who founded this government. So it turns out that Mateusz Morawiecki had nothing more to say,” she said, referring to the statement of Kaczyński, who said in an interview for PAP: “the form of the expert political government that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will present on Monday is my idea .”
Nowacka also wondered “if the new ministers will actually join the ministries, what will they pretend to do, because we know very well that it is a farce and just an extension of the sad end of this government,” said she.
Tumanowicz: This is the Council of Ministers with a validity of two weeks
This is a temporary Council of Ministers with a validity of two weeks. It is clear that we have not received a vote of confidence, Confederation MP Witold Tumanowicz told PAP on Monday, referring to the swearing-in of Mateusz Morawiecki’s government.
This concerns a temporary Council of Ministers with an expiry date of two weeks.
– Confederation MP Witold Tumanowicz told PAP. According to him, “it is clear that we have not received a vote of confidence.”
The question is whether Prime Minister Morawiecki will have enough courage to stand on the side of Polish entrepreneurs in the final stretch and implement the demands of those protesting at the border.
– said the MP.
The mockery of the opposition
The swearing-in of the new government was mocked on Platform X by politicians from the new parliamentary majority, among others.
What happened in the Presidential Palace is certainly the saddest and most embarrassing event this place has witnessed since 1989
Poles voted for a change for the better, not for a bad two-week cabaret. It’s a waste of time and a waste of Poland
The Council of Ministers-Statisticians started the swearing-in ceremony. For Chorosińska, this is probably a step back in her acting career!
New government, big smile!
A government without a social and parliamentary majority is a paragovernment. This is currently playing in the presidential palace, unfortunately with taxpayer money. Two-faced people
What is the difference between an expert and an experiment? Live now, in the presidential palace
Composition of the new government of Prime Minister Morawiecki
