Yerevan plans to file a lawsuit against Baku to return the property rights of the people of Karabakh

Hasmik Samvelyan, press spokesman of Armenia’s representation in charge of international legal affairs, said that Yerevan is preparing to file an interstate lawsuit against Baku regarding the return of the property rights of the Karabakh people. Telegram channel reports this “Sputnik Armenia”.

“There is no exact date yet, but this is a matter of the near future,” Samvelyan said.

Lawyer Siranush Sahakyan spokethat the change of registration cannot affect the realization of the property rights of Karabakh citizens.

“Even if Azerbaijan illegally transfers property rights to others, Karabakh residents still retain the right to dispose of and access this property,” Sahakyan said.
