“Personally, I am convinced that this will be a major development leap for us. I do not understand the objections related to, for example, the expansion of the railway infrastructure,” Paulina Matysiak, a member of parliament from the Razem party, said on Radio Wnet when asked about the Central Communication Port project.
When Matysiak was asked if she would sign the demand to destroy the CPK project, he replied:
No, I wouldn’t sign such a demand.
However, the MP admitted that she did not believe that Civic Platform would “throw this project in the trash”.
I think that would be irresponsible. We need a substantive, calm discussion about this project
– she noted.
The left said at the election that it said ‘no’ to building a new airport, but ‘yes’ to expanding the high-speed rail network and lines. We need a calm and substantive conversation, based on facts, that focuses on what is in Poland’s interests. What can such a project bring us? Personally, I am convinced that this will be a major development leap for us. I do not understand these objections, which relate, for example, to the expansion of the railway infrastructure
– she added.
“These are very dangerous comments.”
The conversation also focused on another major investment, namely the construction of a nuclear power plant. How does Matysiak interpret the information that Donald Tusk is putting pressure on the Americans to allow the companies that are going to build a nuclear power plant in Poland to take shares in this investment?

These are very dangerous comments. What’s below? It’s hard to say. However, I don’t believe the first established location will change. We’ve closed everything down here. What we need to focus on is starting the investments and construction of this project, because any suspension or stoppage will postpone the construction of this power plant.
– she emphasized.
Would Matysiak withdraw her support for the future Tusk government if it ‘blows up’ the power plant construction project?
Personally, I would not agree to that and for me it is not an issue that can be postponed. This is the Polish raison d’être for us to start building this power plant. If we remember Donald Tusk’s statements from years ago, this power plant should already be operational
– she said.
