At this point, we have enough votes to take the NBP President to the State Tribunal. We are analyzing this issue because we want to responsibly use this very serious instrument that disciplines political and sometimes also criminal responsibility, PO leader Donald Tusk emphasized on Tuesday.
We lacked votes – I am talking about the number of seats in the Sejm – so that today I could responsibly say that we will make these decisions, that they will appear before the State Tribunal.
– said Tusk, answering questions from journalists in the Sejm about the possibility of, for example, bringing former ministers before the Court of Justice.
As he said, there would be enough votes to be brought before the State Tribunal if PiS MPs wanted to join – at least in part – in the applications to the State Tribunal for ministers or former ministers.
We are currently gathering the necessary tools and we know how to use them effectively, how to use them effectively to reveal the whole truth about abuses and to bring political responsibility to justice.
– Tusk emphasized.
At this point, we have a majority vote sufficient to summon the NBP President to the State Tribunal. We are analyzing this issue because we want to make responsible use of this very serious disciplinary tool to establish political and sometimes criminal liability of politicians and top officials.
– Tusk emphasized.
