According to Borodin, the entry of some Russian foreign agents into the country should be banned at the legislative level “in order to ensure internal security.”
In turn, State Duma deputy Andrei Alshevskikh, co-author of the law on foreign agents, comments on Borodin’s initiative: said “socialbites.ca” stated that the proposal to ban persons declared to be foreign agents from entering Russia violates the country’s Constitution. The deputy noted that Borodin’s appeal to the State Duma will be taken into account, but its implementation is unlikely.
