The German Foreign Ministry condemned the speech made by the Taliban representative in the central mosque of Cologne 14:19

The German Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the speech in Cologne by the representative of the Taliban (an organization banned in Russia) Abdul Bari Omar.

The ministry assured that further measures will be taken in close cooperation with internal services and partners. They emphasized that they were not informed of Omar’s arrival in Germany and that they did not recognize the legitimacy of the Taliban government.
