Azerbaijan criticized the latest statements of the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell. This is stated in the statement Ministry of Foreign Affairs republics.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “(…) The accusations against Azerbaijan made by Josep Borrell at the press conference held in Brussels on November 13, 2023, which deliberately distorted the facts in the region, are completely inadequate and unacceptable.” he said in a press release.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry criticized the EU’s desire to supply arms to Armenia as “promoting policies that undermine peace and stability in our region and lead to new conflicts.”
“The use of threatening language against Azerbaijan is unacceptable,” the Republic’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs summarized.
13 November EU warned Baku about the severe consequences of violating Armenia’s sovereignty.
“Our message to Azerbaijan is clear: Violation of Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is unacceptable,” Josep Borrell said at the press conference.
Armenia in September filed a lawsuit against the UN To Azerbaijan. The Armenian side requested the court to take interim measures “to protect and preserve the rights contained in the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.”
