I was surprised by President Andrzej Duda’s proposal, I am extremely satisfied; I accept the position entrusted to me with satisfaction – emphasized PSL MP Marek Sawicki, who was appointed Senior Marshal by the President. He assured that he would act in accordance with the Constitution and Rules of Procedure of the Sejm.
President Andrzej Duda announced in his speech on Monday that he had decided to entrust the mission of forming a government to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, and PSL’s Marek Sawicki as senior marshal. As the president justified, Sawicki has the longest parliamentary experience and is known as a man of dialogue.
