Today on TVN24, politicians discussed, among other things: about whom the president should entrust the mission of forming the government. The deputy head of Poland 2050, Paulina Hennig-Kloska, assured that the coalition agreement would be presented to the president on November 13 as planned. The leader of the Confederation, Krzysztof Bosak, stated that no one believed that M. Morawiecki would succeed in forming a government.
In the program “Kawa na ławy” politicians discussed the issue of introducing rotation in the position of the chairman of the Sejm and to whom President Andrzej Duda should entrust the mission of forming a new government.
MP Izabela Leszczyna (Civic Coalition) noted that the decision whether the position of Sejm chairman will be rotating will be made by the leaders of the parties seeking to form a governing coalition.
Rotating Marshal or “welded to his seat”
I think (rotation in the position of chairman of the Sejm) is a very good idea, no one needs to be glued to their chair, like the current PiS government.
– she assessed.
The deputy head of Poland 2050, Paulina Hennig-Kloska, has determined that there can be rotation in the Sejm, but that it cannot be just one position.
I can imagine that (rotation) can be introduced, but it must be a certain system in the country, just like in the European system. After all, here too it is not about one position, but about a system
– she explained.
According to Marek Jakubiak (Kukiz’15), the discussion about the rotation of the position of the chairman of the Sejm is the result of ‘backroom tricks’ among the parties that want to form a coalition.
That’s it, you have to come to an agreement. Someone has to give way to someone
– he said.
Adrian Zandberg (Razem) stated that “in order for conversations and negotiations to reach a point where no one is completely satisfied, but everyone is satisfied to the extent that they are satisfied, they cannot be conducted in Sunday studios.”
Minister in the KPRP, Małgorzata Paprocka, announced that within days the president will appoint a senior marshal who will lead the first sessions of the Sejm, scheduled for November 13.
To whom will the president entrust the mission of forming a new government?
Paprocka was also asked to whom the president would entrust the mission to form a new government.
The President issued a statement after consultation with all committees, received a very clear message from all representatives (…) and said clearly: I have to make a very important decision
– she remembered.
According to Adrian Zandberg, it will be “an abuse of Morawiecki” if the president entrusts the mission to form a new government to Mateusz Morawiecki.
Morawiecki will not get a majority in this parliament, that is perfectly clear (…). From the point of view of the outgoing government, the difference will be that some of the nominees will still receive a salary. And this actually exhausts the political effect of Morawiecki performing this dance in front of parliament
– he assessed.
When will the coalition agreement come?
Paulina Hennig-Kloska noted that the coalition agreement will be submitted to the president’s desk on November 13, as planned.
This will be hard mathematical proof that 248 is greater than 194
– she said. According to the deputy head of Poland 2050, handing over the mission to form a government to Morawiecki “doesn’t make the slightest sense”.
Chance of a new government of the United Right
When asked about the words of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, spoken yesterday in an interview for Interia, that he believes that it will be possible to reach an agreement with parliamentarians of other formations for whom the sovereignty of Poland and opposition to illegal immigration important, Confederation leader Krzysztof Bosak warned that “it’s a joke.”
We are close to these values, he is not. He denied these values when he ruled Poland
– he said.
According to Bosak, no one believes anymore that Morawiecki’s government will be formed.
This is PiS putting a good face on a bad game (…). This misleads some of his voters that PiS has some options open
– he emphasized.
The leader of the Confederation assured that his formation will not support either the PiS government or the Civic Platform government, because “these parties are confusingly similar” in terms of the way they govern, and differ only in terms of propaganda.
