If we look not at the parties, but at the politicians themselves, today the majority in the Sejm is represented by pro-Polish, pro-sovereignty, pro-independence politicians and those associated with the system of Christian values – said Przemysław Czarnek, head of MEiN, on Friday on TVP Info. “We will talk to each of them,” he announced.
“And in all of this I see an opportunity.”
The Minister of Education and Science was asked, among other things, about program differences between the political groups that are in the opposition and declare themselves prepared to form a government together. He was asked whether it is possible, on the one hand, to reconcile the position of KO and the left on the right to abortion up to the twelfth week of pregnancy and the position of the Third Way, which does not support this.
Czarnek emphasized that 7,660,000 people voted for Law and Justice in the elections. voters, which – as he said – is over a million more than for the Civic Coalition and 3 million more than for the Third Way. As he also noted, “more than 11 million residents voted for all these parties that are against PiS today.”
But it is also a fact that among the more than 11 million people who voted for those parties, there were people who elected parliamentarians who today admit pro-Polish, democratic, Christian values and, even more, if they think more deeply and talk If they talk to them for more than five minutes, they are actually against all the absurd programs that they would represent today
– said Czarnek.
And I see an opportunity in all of this
– he pointed out.
The fact that today they aspire to be in power and (PO leader Donald) Tusk becomes Prime Minister – that is what we hear – but if you look at the composition of the current Sejm, the majority of However, this composition of parliamentarians associated with the Polish tradition, independence, sovereignty, with Christian values that have been the basis of this society for 1050 years and we must constantly talk to them
– he assessed.
Because even if Prime Minister (Mateusz) Morawiecki had failed to form a parliamentary majority in the first step of appointing a government – and this is appropriate from the perspective of democracy, because we have the highest electoral result – the term of office would have been not for a day or two, just four years. However, the program differences are enormous: from those who want to ban the breeding of animals and even the eating of meat, to those who could never deal with that because they are representatives of farmers.
– said the minister.
Asked whether there will be “a majority in the Sejm every time,” he replied: “of course yes.”
Not even just in the Sejm, but always, every month, every week in the coalition hall, because this is the structure of the Sejm today.
If we look not at the parties, but at the politicians who represent these parties, today the majority in the Sejm is represented by pro-Polish politicians, pro-sovereignty, pro-independence and associated with the system of Christian values, which have nothing to to do with ‘leftism’, with any gender ideology, the madness of ‘rainbow Fridays’, with a madness of banning meat eating or agriculture
– said Czarnek.
“This will be the most difficult term of office of the Sejm in general.”
When asked what he expected from the new term of office, he replied that “this will be the most difficult term of office of the Sejm in general, in terms of the functioning of the Sejm and the parliamentary majority for many, many years, but a term that could ultimately save Polish sovereignty and independence, in the context of the EU’s efforts and the abandonment of the unanimity and veto power of each member state. Because today this is the structure of the Sejm when it comes to individual deputies, and we will talk to each of them,” he announced.
President Andrzej Duda summarized last week’s consultations with the election commissions, saying that there are two political groups that claim to have a parliamentary majority and have a candidate for prime minister. The United Right’s candidate for prime minister is Mateusz Morawiecki, and the candidate for KO, Third Way and Left is Donald Tusk. The President also announced that the date he has tentatively scheduled for the first session of the Sejm of the 10th term will be Monday, November 13.
In the Sejm elections, PiS won 194 seats, KO – 157; Third way – 65; New Left – 26; Confederation – 18.
