Russia continues hybrid actions against the West, with the aim of destabilizing NATO, paving the way for the defeat of Ukraine and forcing submission to Russian interests – said Stanisław Żaryn, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Cabinet from the Prime Minister.
This was stated in a statement on Thursday
Without stopping Russian imperialism, without defeating Russia by the Ukrainians, it is difficult to think about a secure Europe in the coming years
– said Żaryn.
In a two-minute video commentary, the minister in the Prime Minister’s Chancellery said the Kremlin continues to use hybrid methods to put pressure on the West.
On the one hand, the hybrid operation on the Polish-Belarusian border will continue. We continue to see aggressive attacks on our border, patrols and soldiers
– he said.
According to the deputy minister-coordinator of the secret services, this hybrid operation will continue because it is a broader plan to destabilize Europe, and in particular the NATO countries.
We clearly see that Russia and Belarus are looking to increase the intensity of migration traffic to further destabilize Lithuania, Latvia and Poland.
– he said.
This is an action intended to carry out broader imperial activities of the Russian Federation and enforce the implementation of Russian demands and interests.
– Żaryn added in Thursday’s recording.
He pointed out that on the other hand, we see Russia increasing psychological pressure on the West, which is directly related to the war in Ukraine.
The Kremlin is trying to force permission for negotiations and a freeze on the conflict, which would de facto mean acceptance of Russian aggression and occupation of Ukrainian land.
– he emphasized.
He added that Russia hopes to buy time by freezing the front and thus rebuild its armed forces “to further indoctrinate society and return to the policy of aggression against Ukraine – and perhaps other countries as well.” ”
United West
According to him, the West must remain united.
The West must support and support Ukraine in this defensive struggle because this is in the interest of all NATO countries, especially NATO’s eastern flank.
– noted the Secretary of State at the Prime Minister’s Chancellery.
A rebuilt Russia, a strengthened Russia, could threaten not only Ukraine with a new attack, but also NATO’s eastern flank and the entire Alliance. Without stopping Russian imperialism, without defeating Russia by the Ukrainians, it is difficult to think about a secure Europe in the coming years
– said the Government Plenipotentiary for the Security of the Polish Information Space.
Thursday marks the 617th day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The aggression started on February 24, 2022.
