In an interview with Polsat News, Ryszard Petru, who returns to the Sejm as a member of the Third Way, said it is unlikely that the KPO funds will reach Poland in January. “I don’t know enough to predict it. I bet it could be spring, but I don’t think it will be in January,” he said. The politician also said there is a chance that the coalition agreement will be ready before November 13, the date on which President Andrzej Duda will hold the first session of the new Sejm has established.
When will the coalition agreement be concluded?
It is still unknown whether the new government will be formed by the former opposition parties, or whether Law and Justice will still manage to build a majority. President Andrzej Duda scheduled the first meeting of the new Sejm for November 13.
Opposition politicians (Krzysztof Gawkowski from Lewica spoke about it today on TVN24) are convinced that the coalition talks are approaching a positive outcome.

““I’m not interested in the economy at all.”
Ryszard Petru, who will again take his seat on the parliamentary benches, was also optimistic about the progress of the talks in an interview with Polsat News.
Today is only November 2 and therefore Monday is relatively far away, it is possible to complete all topics. I know the dynamics of political and negotiation processes, more of a dynamic, I’m guessing Thursday-Friday of next week
– he said.
I’m sure she will [umowa – red.] before November 13
– he pointed out.
We must send a signal to the Poles and Andrzej Duda that the three blocs agree and that we have a program. I think it will be exactly in a week
– said the Polsat News guest.
When asked about a possible position in the new government and whether it would be related to the economy, Ryszard Petru replied:
I’m not interested in economics at all. The economy can be restored in the Sejm, not in the government.
The MP-elect also admitted that he was not in favor of the concept of a rotating chairman of the Sejm.
I am not in favor of such solutions. However, I do not want to get involved in the coalition negotiations and spoil them, because rotation means opening different rotations
– he said.
As Petru noted, the issue is certainly part of the negotiations, but he would be reluctant to go into details without knowing the “intentions of the other side.”
Wil Petru Prof. Glapiński from the National Bank of Poland?
The Polsat News guest also referred to the announcements that PO leader Donald Tusk made during the election campaign about Prof. Adam Glapinski. Will the President of the NBR actually be ‘relocated’ from the building of this institution before his term ends?
It will be necessary to investigate the issue of constitutional tort and prove that the NBP is indirectly financing the national debt in violation of the Constitution.
– Ryszard Petru emphasized and admitted:
I am not in favor of impeaching the NBP president unless there is clear evidence of constitutional violation.
Petru also heated up the story about Morawiecki’s “hole”. Even though the head of the Polish government presented data on the state of the Polish economy.
I appeal to politicians and platform experts: by lying about the state of public finances you build negative sentiment on the financial markets and discourage investors. This is dangerous for all Poles, not for Law and Justice
– wrote Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on social media, also emphasizing that EC forecasts show that the Polish economy will develop “the best among the major European economies” next year, and stories like this among the opposition either prove its ignorance either its withdrawal from its own election promises, or its desire to eliminate programs introduced by the Law and Justice government.
What do you think, Peter?
No growth, the Polish economy shrank. If she is not tall, it means we are in debt
– he argued.
He also assured that the new government “will not spend money it does not have”.

Funds from KPO
Can the first remittances from KPO reach Poland in January? Petru indicated that this was probably not possible.
I don’t know enough about it to predict it. I bet it will be spring, but I don’t think it will be in January
– he assessed.
Does Ryszard Petru already admit that his potential future coalition partner and likely future Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, lied or went too far in Sopot in August?
