According to a survey by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), 76% of respondents trust the country’s leader, and 22% of Ukrainians have the opposite point of view – in May 2022, 91% of respondents said they trust Zelensky said, and only 7% spoke negatively about the Ukrainian leader.
According to the research, Ukrainians trust the Ukrainian Armed Forces the most; While 94% of respondents have a positive attitude towards the military, only 5% do not trust it. A year and a half ago, Ukrainians’ support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces was even higher; 98 percent of those surveyed said they should trust the military, and only 1 percent disagreed.
Ukrainians trust the government and the Verkhovna Rada the least. In the case of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, only 39% of the respondents gave a positive assessment, while 58% gave a negative assessment. As for the Ukrainian parliament, only 21% of respondents trust it, while 76% have the opposite point of view. At the same time, in May 2022, trust in the government was 74% and trust in the Rada was 58%.
