Tomasz Kozak, an artist and cultural theorist, who directly describes himself as a “Marxist” in his biography on the website “Krytyka Polityczna”, is happy about the defeat of “faszola” in his new article. “After these elections, we must master the art of pinning down fascists – without these elections there will be no real politics,” Kozak insists, adding that the left must “direct the spectacle of the reckoning with PiS.”
“The Faszoles ultimately lost
Even as a fantasy and a joke, the scenario outlined in artist Tomasz Kozak’s “Krytyka Polityczna” sounds terrifying to say the least.
“Oh, what a relief!” – this great post-election sigh unites Christian Democratic dining rooms, corporate lofts and left-wing mud huts. They can even be heard in my home country, in Hannover, and I sigh joyfully with you. The Faszoles eventually lost, after two terms of destroying the state and society
– begins his text with a Marxist from “Krytyka Polityczna,” who sees the likely change of power in Poland as an opportunity to “change the worthless status quo – perhaps a revolutionary one.”
“Staring at Tusk like at Napoleon Anders”
The cultural theorist praises the liberal wing of the opposition for its ‘impressive civil mobilization’ and efficiently organized structures.
But be careful: at the same time you are cultivating a primitive cult of personality, looking at Tusk as Napoleon Anders. You don’t understand that this conservative horse has reactionary tendencies. And his courage is weak because he often crouches in front of right-wing totems and tells you to crouch too
– indicates. Kozak continues to criticize PO leader Donald Tusk, while at the same time primitively attacking the border guard and lying about the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border.
That’s why Tusk worshiped the “uniform” while border guards hunted refugees like Nazis
– apart from the incorrect term “border guards”, which border guards have repeatedly drawn attention to, it is of course a lie to call the migrants brought to Europe by Lukashenko and Putin “refugees”, not to mention the comparison with the Nazis or the story about ‘border bashing’.
That’s why he published [Tusk] racist election clips. Fearing Kaczyński, he also ordered you to fold the EU flags and parade at marches under the red and white flag. That’s why he removed activist Jana Shostak from the KO list when he learned that she supported abortion after the twelfth week of pregnancy. And he put Giertych on your list – and you didn’t even say a word; moreover, you applauded Giertych and introduced him to the Sejm. When your Napoleon attacked Hołownia, you threw yourself at Hołownia’s throat. And when he commanded to save him, you pretended to be Samaritans. If during the so-called TVP debate, Bosak declared that he loved your democracy, would form a coalition with you and even lower your taxes – you would blow up the Confederation, just as you blew up the Third Way at the last minute. That’s you, liberal city people
– writes Kozak.
Settlement, but how?
According to a cultural theorist, the Razem party is too ‘polite’
Biejat makes a fundamental mistake in the post-election interview for OKO.press, in which he suggests silencing the conflict at the top level and focusing on building a welfare state. “So that as soon as possible we can deal not with Law and Justice, not with Mr Kaczyński or Mr Morawiecki, but simply with the most urgent matters for the people”
– we read in the text, and then the author points out that one of these things is “the colonization of public space by right-wing social ideas”.
We will not build a better country without decolonization, and it will not be without conflict. From a Marxist perspective, conflicts must always be organized for revolutionary purposes
– emphasizes Tomasz Kozak, who calls for a “separation of social democracy”. He then describes, among other things, that it would be necessary to “take back” TVP, led by a “red president”.
The very act of recapturing TVP from the hands of the PiS camarilla should be turned into a political thriller by the left. Let the reds come up with fighting ideas. Arrest Kurski and Matyszkowicz for acting to the detriment of the company and the public interest? Pound Rachoń and Holecka for extorting huge fees from the state treasury? Introduce curatorship on television? We need to create a bank of radical solutions and transform the public debate about them into a spectacle that appeals to the masses
– we are reading.
“The Marxist from the ‘KP’ would also like to hand over the Ministry of Justice to the Reds.
Let us remember the women beaten by police beaters during demonstrations, and all those humiliated by Ziobro’s prosecutors. About people tortured in police stations by Szymczyk’s subordinates. About refugees being harassed by bandits in border guard uniforms. The victims of this regime deserve justice. Moreover, they deserve institutional revenge, aimed in a flash of light at the stage of the regained rule of law.
– Tomasz Kozak emphasizes, again lying, wondering whether we should perhaps think about creating a “special prosecutor-militia unit for criminal and tax settlements with the regime’s accomplices.”
It is the left that must organize, control and radicalize the spectacle of responsibility. Not only with prominent people, but also with ‘little people’ involved in PiS witch hunts. It is possible that this section could draw on the experiences of activists from the Center for Monitoring Racist and Xenophobic Behavior. And enlist some of them to work in the red ministry
– writes the artist, and the penultimate sentence already sounds like an extremely bad joke.
red mark
Someone will say that these are just the phantasmagoria of an exhausted “commie”. The reality, however, is that after 1989 there has never been such massive anger in Poland against the government that lost the elections. Ignoring this righteous anger would be an unforgivable mistake for the winning coalition. Max Weber once said that politics is the art of drilling into hard planks. I will add that after these elections we must master the art of pinning down fascists – without these elections there will be no real politics.
– he emphasizes, further referring to Karl Marx and the idea of the so-called ‘feminist court’ that functioned in Germany during the Middle Ages. This institution was, as the cultural theorist notes, a secret court that took revenge “for the crimes committed by the ruling classes.”
If a red cross was seen on a house, it was known that the owner had been sentenced to “Fema”. All houses in Europe are now marked with a mysterious red cross. History is the judge, the proletariat is the executor.
– writes Kozak.
For the past eight years, the ruling class that ruled Poland consisted of the apparatchiks and the oligarchy of the brown regime and the mobs incited by the regime. The left should put a red line on the economic and ideological nest of this class. The trial must be broadcast in prime time and the verdict must be carried out by the ruthless institutions of a democratic society.
– indicates.
To what extent is it a hint for the future government, and to what extent is it a grotesque artistic vision? Hard to say. However, it is probably the embodiment of the dreams of some eight-star “Strong Razem” stars.
